Breaking Bread for Beder Supperclub
Join us for a special Supperclub at White City House, as Soho House kindly open its doors in support of Beder, to bring people together to break bread and help raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention.
This Supperclub is a relaxed Middle Eastern style dinner, with sharing plates to make you feel at home throughout this 10-course meal, created by Joudie Kalla (@PalestineonaPlate).
Joudie Kalla has been working as a chef in London for over 20 years. She trained at Leiths School of food and wine and went on to work in several restaurants before opening her Palestinian deli, Baity Kitchen. Joudie then began writing her first best-selling cookbook, Palestine On A Plate, in 2016 and published her second cookbook, Baladi, in 2018. Both cookbooks focus on the food from Palestine and the Levant which is where her heritage is.
Beder has also brought together an interesting panel of leading figures to exploring the importance of looking after our mental health, namely:
Ahmed Shihab-Eldin (@ahmedeldin)
Hannah Rasekh (@hannah_rasekh)
Ben Bidwell (@thenakedprofessor)
Lawrence Price (@fafitsake)
You will have the chance to take part in an exclusive auction containing exciting lots that have kindly been donated by Beder's partners and supporters with more details being announced in due course.
Thank you for your support! All profits raised from this event will support Beder in its work to raising awareness around mental health and suicide prevention.
