About the Event

Join Greg Emmerson (Masterchef 2018 - Semi Finalist) as he provides a live cooking class over Zoom teaching you how to make Mexican Chicken Tortillas with Pico de Gallo.

You will need the following ingredients as he take you through this cooking class:

Mexican Chicken

-1 teaspoon chili powder

- 1 teaspoon ground cumin

- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano/ fresh if you can get it

- ½ teaspoon crushed garlic

- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste,

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

- 4 mini flour tortillas

- 1 avocado, halved, peeled, seeded and diced

- ½ cup chopped fresh coriander leaves

- 3 limes, cut in half

- 4 small flour tortillas

Pico de Gallo

- 1 cup finely chopped white onion (about 1 small onion)

- 1 medium jalapeño or serrano pepper, ribs and seeds removed, finely chopped, keep the seeds in if you’re a lover of that heat kick!

- ¼ cup lime juice

- ¾ teaspoon fine sea salt, more to taste

- 2 large tomatoes chopped (remove the hearts, but keep these stored in the fridge for a pasta recipe perhaps)

- ½ cup finely chopped fresh coriander
